Setup:

This drill will have two stationary attackers. One at center midfield and one at the 18 in the middle of the field. There will also be one mobile attacker and one defender marking the mobile attacker.

Players get experience both attacking and defending
which allows you as a coach to maximize your time at practice.

Execution:

  1. The ball will start with the attacker near midfield.
  2. The moving attacker must work to get open and receive the pass.
  3. Once the moving attacker gets the ball they work one on one against the defender
    trying to score a goal.
  4. The moving attacker can use either stationary attacker to pass the ball to a maximum of
    twice.
  5. The moving attacker must create a shot and try to score a goal.

Coaching Tips:

• This play works on getting open and passing. It also helps a player learn to be creative and use his teammates during the game.
